Sarah and I just arrived in Denver. We decided to take the “scenic” route, and check out South Dakota, Wyoming, and other states we wouldn’t otherwise drive through. The drive was beautiful complete with wide open prairies, antelopes, and 65 mph wind gusts. We did manage to swing by Mt. Rushmore which was pretty cool…I’ll try to post pictures whenever I can figure out how to do that on this blog.
When we arrived at the Chayah House, I was overwhelmed by the warm reception from the workers and the women. Last night we attended a graduation party for Charise, a woman who recently completed her stay in the Treasure House. It was powerful to see what ODM means to the women who are able to complete the program. I know that this is where the Lord has called us, and I am excited to see Him work through this ministry. Please continue to pray for us for strength and wisdom as we minister to these women.
We are so excited about this adventure we are about to go on! Thank you for being apart of it! We will be making the long drive from Indianapolis to Denver in mid-June. Until then we will be finishing up our jobs here and packing! Take a look at the Chayah House video to get more of an idea of the ministry we will be apart of soon. More news to come later…
